The energy department collaborates very closely with CyI’ innovation department. The two departments work together on transferring the most promising and innovative technologies and services from the research groups and bring them to a higher Technical Readiness Level (TRL). This maturity is fed back into the Energy Department to enhance its scientific excellence. The department also leverages the National Eco-Innovation Cluster to promote technology transfer, generate and manage IP, encourage spin-off and spinouts, and coordinate new consortia to fundraise in competitive innovation-oriented calls.
The state-of-the-art facilities of the department enhance its visibility and reputation in the innovation area and promote a robust R&D culture that will ensure its financial stability and sustainable growth.
