Dr. Loghmari joined the Cyprus Institute in late 2023 as a postdoctoral researcher. He held a senior engineering position in heavy industry, where he was responsible for the mechanical operation and maintenance of thermal power and chemical plants. Additionally, he was involved in teaching positions and gained experience in mechanical design engineering. Ismail aims to incorporate the industrial operational perspective into his research endeavors. His field of research includes solar resources assessment and concentrating solar power systems.
